8.8 swap complete
well i finished the 7.5 to 8.8 swap. surprisingly it was extremely straight forward. more so than anyone has said. the only problems i ran into was a rounded torx bolt on the shock. and stupidly trying to figure out that the breather can actually be removed allowing you to transfer brake lines. but the most painfull and irritating part of the swap is pouring gear oil into the filler plug. but i got it and a large pile of dirty chem-dry in time.
going from a 7.5 open difff. to the trak-lok 8.8 has completely changed my car. this is a swap every 7.5 owner should consider. i got the diff. for 50 bucks and paid 140 in shipping. about the cost of REPLACEMENT gears for the 7.5.
