Default AODE Problem

Got an AODE tranny that has a clunk in it when you accelerate from low speed. Sounds like it is from the back of the tranny. New U-Joints. Feels like the shaft going in has a lot of play. My son says the rpm's seem to jump real high when he gets on it going around a corner. Any ideas?

i have the same issue, idk. if i let it coast down hill with no throttle the tranny has a little clunk going from 1-2 or 2-3, not consistent either. hopefully someone can shed some light. I've read somewhere abour the planetary gear set having sometype of spring and that can fail/break and allow the gearset to hit the tranny case. not sure though.

Check the tranny mounts make sure they're OK.. I can't imagine why the engine would rev high going around a corner though..?

Is it maybe revving due to something slipping in the traction lock? Seems to do it around corners. Rear end is getting rebuilt on Monday and 4:10's put in. I guess we'll see.

Tranny mounts are solid. It sure seems likethe clunkis from some slop in the tranny.
