Default Gears messing up speedo?

If i got new gears such as 4.10's would that mess my speedo or tach up, or is it only for new tires that that would happen?

it will read completely off you'll have to buy a new speedo gear for the swap, and possibly have the speedo recalibrated just to make sure its completely accurate

It cost me $355 for the install but I also bought new roller bearings, seals and shims because I bought MD's used gears.
