Default trans questions

i just bought a 94 V6 5 spd convertable an im wondering if my trans is the same as the 94 gt ? and if u put a detroit or whatever brand locker diff is it then posi rear?or will a gt rear bolt right in?im wondering cuz i might get a 5.0 from a 94 0r i want sumthin carberated

if its a v6 its a 7.5 rear not not the 8.8 the trans might be the same but they gear them differently for the v6 and v8

ok i know i have a 7.5 rear but my question is will a 8.8 gt rear bolt right 2 my car ? an 4 the trans question ,will a 94 5.0 bolt 2 my 94 3.8 5spd transmission ,an if yes will a older carberated 5.0 or 5.8 from mustang orF150,any advice is appreceated

The rear will bolt right in.

The bolt pattern between the 3.8L and 5.0L (and earlier 302/351) is the same. You will need to double check the shaft length and diameter. I believe they are the same, but haven't played with any 6ers.
