I know that the full length headers show the best power gains but this is my problem. I didn’t do my research back in 01 when I installed the basanni X pipe. I was wondering if it would be worth getting the sorties for this system or just get the LT’s and new X pipe.

 

powerwise id go with the longtubes and drop the extra cash for a new shorter x pipe. Moneywise it might be a better idea to just buy shorties. My vote is for the longtubes though.

 

I have shorties and have had no problem with them. Hell you already dropped the bucks on the x-pipe, you wanna drop more for what, maybe 10 extra horse (comparted to shortie, equal length). My vote is shorties :P

 

id say go for the shorts.
but im a pretty cheap spender so i wouldnt know why u'd wanna spend more for minimal gains.

 

i totally disagree. LT give u more power, escpecially if u plan on a blower.

 

long tubes all the way....BBK's are the best bang for the buck
