Default Using lube & protectant spray

Hi,

I will be storing my car for 4-6 months. I bought this Slide Out lube & protectant spray to prevent rusting. Can I open up the hood and spray this on anything metal? Is there any place I should focus/avoid spraying this on?

Thanks.

Default RE: Using lube & protectant spray

Thank you. Its a general purpose spray, it doesn't explain anything specific to a car.

What I would like to know is, is there any part which should never be exposed to this, so I can be more careful when spraying. Or is there any part which gets easily rusted, and I should spray couple more coatings over it? Any one?

Thanks.
