I think my tanny is about to go.......it is making a grindin noise and when i press in my clutch it stops and when sittin in netural it makes it.....will any 302 tranny work for my 94 cobra or do i have to get one that is only for the 94 95 mustang?

 

You just need a throw out bearing. May as well replace the clutch disc and pressure plate while you're at it.

 

i just changed the throw out bearin about a few months ago do u still think thats what it is and if so its alright to drive it for a few days till i can change it?

 

yes u can still drive it a few days. if u just did replace the bearing and its already wornu might also want to check out ur linkage.

 

why does it not make any noise in 4th?

 

if thats the case u have bigger problems than just the throw out bearing. Are you saying there is noise in every gear but 4th?

 

yea and it the noise gets a lil louder when u pick up more speed
