Body panel replacement
i've got a 2004 v6 and i had some jackaz hit my frontright quarter panel just behind the wheel, not enough for frame damage but enough to have to replace it. way it looks under the hood all thats holding it on is screws.. is there any welding required toinstall that piece or could i just put a new one on myself?

You'll have to first take off the front bumper, which is a bit of a pain, 'cause you have to reach up inside behind the sides of it to get to the 4 (2 on each side) bolts that hold it there.
But, yes, it is only bolts. About 4 across the top -inside the hood-, a couple inside at the back -inside the door/fender edge-, a couple at the bottom behind the ground effects, and a couple at the bottom of the front behind the bumper.
Also, you'll have a few screws holding the fender liner to it... I think.
Have fun! Accidents suck!

whoever it was just drove off without givng me any information or anything. i'd put it on my insurance but it would just end up raising my premiums so if i can get by just doing it myself with a replacement panel thats the way i'd rather go

Don't buy the cheap imported replacement parts, they don't fit quite right and are made out of thin metal.
Also when ordering don't say "quarter panel" or you might get a rear end quarter panel. The front end parts are called fenders.
