i had the one u-joint replaced at a local shop by guys who have been very good to me in the past. He said the other u-joint was fine. I would assume he would have checked everything else out too. When I told him the shake was still happening he told me to come pick him up and take him for a drive so he can try and figure it out. I was hoping to fix it myself though...

The shake can be from the driveshaft being out of phase. Meaning it wasnt installed in the same position it was removed. Also, the driveshaft could have loosend up if he didnt loctite it when re-installing.

well this was the first time the driveshaft had been removed, and it was happening before this....so i dont think it's from re-installing. easy way to fix the driveshaft? or shouldi just take it in...

thanks for all the help.
