What size socket do you need to remove it from the disstributor ? Does the distributor have have to be removed or rotated to install it ?

I dont remember what size the socket is for the module but i didnt have to remove the distirbutor. Just loosen the hold down and turn it a little, thats how i got mine done. I marked the dist and the hold down and where it sits on the block tho just to be sure. If you have a timing light no problem. Use all the grease on the back of the new module. Without the module will cook itself to death.

I do believe there is a special socket to remove the tfi module if that is what you are talking about. Advance/autozone sell it, its on either a t-handle or another short handle device.
