Default parts for forum members

Hello-

I'm new to the forum - just joined up today. Here's the question. Is there a dealer that gives Mustang Forum members preferred pricing (like Ford cost + 5%). I know from owning an Impala SS, that a couple of GM dealers (one in Akron, OH, the other in Nashville, TN) that give ISSCA members GM cost + 5%. Any info would be great.

Thanks again.

RS

Are you serious? Is there no Ford dealer that would do this? There's at least a dozen GM dealers that do this for F-body, B-body, and A-body Chevy's/GM's for parts.

I haven't heard of a company doing that for MF.com

I know some businesses do it for the LS1 forums..

I read somewhere that some of the MF site sponsors will give a small discount for being a member here (with proof that you're active here when you order) but I haven't heard of what you're looking for. Someone might know more about that though.

I never had or will buy performance parts from a dealer. It's just stupid.

Agreed, but I think he was more interested in replacement parts.

Hey guys,

I'm not talking about performance/special parts, just OEM Ford parts. Also, I'm not talking about 5% discount off of list price. I'm talking about Ford dealer cost + 5%. Here's an example from Flow Chevrolet (aka gmpartsdirect.com) in Winston Salem, NC or VanDevere Olds/Buick/Pontiac in Akron, OH:

Say I need an O2 sensor (part 25312184) for my 95 Impala SS.

Dealer List: $95.07
My Cost: $37.54

The cheapest I could even think about getting this part is from Autozone at $64.99. Advance and Napa are even higher and for O2 sensors, carry Bosch, which are not as good as original AC Delco. I know of 6-8 other dealerships across the US that will do this for GM. Are you all saying there are NO Ford dealers that will do this? If not, we should be cursing, screaming, and asking, "What the f*&%!!
