I installed a 76mm C&L mass air system and inlet pipe but left the factory throttle body on my car and now it has a lag in acceleration at first.I have a cobra intake so I know I can go to a 70mm throttle body but will this correct the problem or did I go to big of a meter?

 

I have never owned one but from everyone ive heard from that has istheir not the greatest mass air meters and alot of them do cause drivability problems. Also are you sure that is calibrated for the right size injectors?

 

Yea it was calibrated for 19# injectors.It has a gold or yellow mark on the air flow tube which is supposed to mean 19# injectors.Can you get to much air flow?

 

What you can try to do is "clock the MAF" you just turn it in the tube so it sees a different amount of air entering
