Default Carburetor confusion

My step dad just handed over the keys to the 1968 Mustang Convertible that has been sitting in our garage. It has the 302 engine with the 2 barrel carb. The first thing i know i need to do is rebuild the carb, but that is where my troubles start...
I can't seem to find a straight answer on what type of carburetor i am running.

http://www.carmemories.com/cgi-bin/v...erience_id=232

This site said that it comes with an Autolite 2300-A carburetor, but i can't seem to find any information on this specific carb. The only rebuild kits and information i can find on carburetors from 68 mustangs are Autolite 2100 or 2150. So what carburetor came stock on the 68 302 2v engine?

Try here
http://www.ponycarburetors.com/

And get any numbers you can off the carb tag if it still has it.
