Default Alarm or Kill switch?

I just got an 05 mustang and from what i read the active alarm system isn't the greatest. My local car shop says to just install an VIPER alarm system with some kill switches. Anyone have any luck with fuel pump shutoffs or anything similar? The reason i ask is my car is parked 30 miles away from where I work ( I ride a bus into town). I hate to think someone would steal it while i'm in town.

ive never had any experiance with a viper alarm or kill switches but ive heard good things. plus, who listens to alarms....nobody. i set off every alarm in the parking structure at work with my exhaust and you never see anybody coming to check on them. a fuel shut off would be better then any alarm

I finally decided on going with a nice prestige alarm and a fuel pump cutoff switch that engages when you are the alarm. It's all getting installed tomorrow.
