Hello! I just bought a '97 Convert with a V6 and love it! The "Theft" light comes on when I turn the key so I know the light works, but when I engage the system when I am leaving the light does not stay on for 30 seconds like the book says it should do....after 30 seconds the system arms and the light is supposed to go out. The buttons do lock and everything seems to be working fine except the light does not illuminate. Any suggestions? Thanks!
