Default Electrical Problem?

I have a 2000 Mustang GT that I just bought, the car ran fine when I drove it home but it sat fora week or two and now it won't start and stay running. The gages are jumping all over and there is alot of clicking of relays, injectors etc. under the hood. My friend says I have a bad ground somewheres or a bad computer. The car is in really good shape and looks to be in great condition, Help!!!!!!

Roger:
I still don't know what the problem is with my car; Started it up Friday with the hood open and wiggled all of the wires and it ran fine, my son was sitting inside watching the gauges and all was good. Shut the hood and it quit! Got the car to restart and it ran ok again and it wouldn't quit when the hood was shut! Go figure! I had a friend tell meto check the alt. plug but I haven't had the chance.
Thanks, Bruce
