Did the same thing again on my way back up to Dallas, went out halfway through a 3 hour trip. It's at a shop right now and even the mechanic doesn't understand what the problem is.

Dude, you were so right. Well, kinda. Two of the screws that hold the shifter down worked their way loose and were screwing things up. They had to halfway remove the tranny to fix it, but it's done. I'm thinking maybe I should call the dealership and talk to them about it....
