well i bought a 5" Proform tach.. any good?
revs to 11,000 which is a little much for me but ah well, i figured for 50$ it cant be too bad? its off my friends 76 camaro he bought a new 8k one.. he took the shift light off of it, and uses it for his linelock.

where can i find a shift light for it? on ebay theres lots but they are the ones that are for people without tachs and have the adjustable thing on back.. i just want one that i need to set with the tach. any ideas anyone..?

 

I would contact Proform first to see if they make them but unless your tach has the connection for one, I don't know if it will work or not.

 

yes my tach does have the connection for one it is still on there they just took the shift light off of it and wires are hanging.

 

don't see why you couldn't hook one of those stand alones with it....

 

i could.. but id just rather not, then i have to run double the wires and pay triple the price.

 

that tach you have goes for 79.90 with the light?[]
