Default re-gear = false odometer??

hey guys i just had a quck question, probably stupid, but i just thought of it. i bought my stang from a dealer, and when i installed 3.90s the other day the kid who did thtem for me took out the old gears, which happend to be 3.73s. i had a tune in the car before, and the axle ratio set at stock... would this mean the car has a false odometer reading cuz it didnt no the axle ratio was 3.73??

I assume you have a Fox because of your AV, so check this out. Match up what trans/gears u have and this should tell you everything you need to know
