Default Exhaust system cover?

We haven't changed anything, so I assume it's stock, but the exhaust system between the wheels (front and back) is lower then the frame.

If I go over over a speedbump faster then 5mph it will scrape, and I don't want that.

Has anybody else had this problem? Is there a way to somehow weld a guard for it?

Ask if pics are needed.

Maybe one or more of the exhaust hangers has broken?

I'm not really sure, but it's in the middle of the car, not the end. It's really close to the body as it is, an inch would still leave it lower then the frame.
