my a/c is not blowing out the dash it is only blowing out the defrost and i cant figure anything out

can anybody tell me what i need to do to get my air blowing back out

i was told that there is a vac line that controls it but i cant find any loose or broken do any of yall know where the vac lines are

it is a broken vac line. check vac. distribution block above the brake booster... there should be an A/C line. check if that is broken. if it isn't, follow it and see if it's cracked anywhere. they tend to get brittle. if that's still not it, then under the passenger side dash there is another set of vac lines for the vents, check those.

what year is it? i have a 93 and had the same problem, the line was broken right at the tree there above the bb because that's where it bends
