A BRAIN TEASER!
that 1 gal in 20 seconds means you need a pump system capable of 180 gal/hour total flow. and the lines need to be large enough so the pressure drop is kept to a minimun also from the pump(s) to the carb. I would go with at least 3/8" or better yet 1/2" diameter lines for this.

12 psi. pumps in parallel like that double the volume but the pressure remains the same. if you install the two pumps in series where the outlet of one becomes the inlet of the next one, then the flow would only be that of one pump but the pressure would be doubled when connected in series. this is how deep well pumps are made, small impellers connected in series where one pump discharges into the next one and the next one etc. to develop sufficient pressure to overcome the head losses in getting the water up to the surface from hundreds of feet below ground level.

well this is what i got #6 AN hose from pumps,,to Y BLOCK ,,then from there i got #10 AN on the 1 out side...i havent done the volume check yet ,,cause they gave me a wrong adapter fitting i will know tommorrow,,,,#10 is big round as a 3/4 heater hose..[&:]
