im going to order frpp 3.73 gears for my 01 gt manual trans, i know the speedo is gonna be messed up so il have to pick up the calibration tool. I noticed it asks for the style of your speed sensor is there anyway to tell which one you have in your car besides physically looking at it...? Does it go by build date of the car or year of the car or anything like that....?

there shouldnt be any reason they need to knwo about your speed sensor...everyone i ever knew who ordered them just orders them and thats that, no questions asked...

 

Nevermind i figured it out the new ford racing catalog it was more descriptive than the other sites i was checking out. Thanks for the info though.

 

You can also do a Hypertech power programmer to calibrate your speedo, as well as some tuning options. They cost a little more, but I have been happy with mine. Just my .02

 

I got 373's and I just bought the speed cal. from Dallas Mustang for $90, and that was that !!
