Default LS1 Mustang

Would it be reasonably possible to put an LS1 into a Mustang? Just randomly wondering.. I have no intentions to do it. I just think it would be an interesting hybrid.

Why not an SRT8 engine? I mean 425 hp. Maybe a Ford GT ora Super Snake 725 hp engine? Why would you want to waste time and monery on a 'lowly" ls1? While we're at it, why not just skip all the boys toys and go for the jet engine?I mean, seriously?

Yea that's a great idea mixing car brands together. That way you can wind up with a car thatChevy AND Ford guys can both hate

That is an interesting swap to say the least. I wonder how much work would be involved

Yes i have herd of this conversion done. i have actually been told to do this to my car just last week.. there is suspose to be a web site that specializes in this conversion that will sell the complete wiring harness changeover, the k member needed, and other goodies.. but personaly id stay away from combining ford products with GM.

Itll only work if youre converting a 4 eye into an aero and THEN swap in the LS1.

The BEST of both worlds!!
Lightweight car and a good ole trusty LS1 that would be sweet. Alot of people don't respect theese enginges out of pure ignorance, race one that is slightly modded and tell me how it ends up. I am not bowing down to this engine but it is a great engine to swap into something other than a heavy F-Body.
