How is f body heavy? I know it's no Fox notch, but it's about the same as that Cobra in your sig. Mine is 3495 with me in it.

 

What does a Notch weigh??? 2,900-3,100 LBS
BTW my car is probably upwards of 3600 LBS. Foxes are light and isn't the LS1 an Aluminum Block with Aluminum heads? So then it is probably lighter than a stock 5.0 with Iron heads.

 

that would be a stupid swap... you can do alot better for about the same money

i have had 3 northstar engines and nothing but problems with all of them. not a good idea.

 

Northstars have nice power but yeah I know a few people with them and it's just one problem after another.
