Default Project Mustang

Sooo, I'll be graduating from school soon and I'll finally be making money...

I would like to build up a Notchback Mustang but I have not a clue where to start except for the body...

Here is what I would like to see out of the Stang...

Capable Daily Driver...
Pump Gas....
Low 11 second quartermile..
High top-end...

I'm not too familiar with Ford Engines and Trannies...

Perhaps you guys could share your info on your builds or give advice...

Thanks!

Default RE: Project Mustang

If you have the money forge the internals and then get a nice turbo setup. With about 10 LBS on a "stock" motor even you should see 400 RWHP when needed. With a built motor skies are the limit. Plus with a Turbo setup you will be banging up top mostly. You could always build a Stroker with a good H/C/I combo and some suspension work and probably dip into the 11's. Good luck
