How do you mean take out the muffler? like completely remove this bc if you do your motor would sound like crap if you bring your rpm's up over 3500 then when you let off the gas the popping would suck hard my car pops bad enough with my mufflers 5.0's sound nice with no mufflers at idle

Try this site, they advertize aprox 21 RWL HP increase (of course it depends on the rest of your MOD's). From my reading I've heard you lose a little Low end torque but gains in the upper and mid range. Makes sence when your opening your pipes w/less back pressure. Haven't done my exhaust yet....(this summer ). A little spendy but what the hell! Nothings too good for My pony! LOL

i still dont understand if ur looking for turn downs or cut outs... i had straight headers on today and it was LOUD, a very nice idle to it but sounded bad after 2000, i got my flows put on and have a tiny idle but very very deep in the low rpms with my turn downs.

there will be minor hp gains from dumps due to the shorter pipes and not having to go over the rear axel, the sound is awsome but i dont like the fumes, mine runs 2 21/2" pipes no mufflers just the cats and comes out even to the outside of the car behind the back of the doors and infront of the rear tire. cant hardly hear it inside the car but it sounds awsome outside. not as deep sounding as dumps but alot more comforitable if you spend much time in your car
