I know everytime i run my nova that is the main thing they always check. It runs mid 12's with BFG drag radials. If you have a slick or any drag radial tire you must have one. I think.

NHRA rules, a driveshaft loop required if you are running 13.99 on slicks, or 13.00 on street tires.

But it depends on your track. around here, southern california, there are no good tracks except for the Pomona race way where the winter nationals are hosted (fun fun), but mostly its off limits. The only other track that i know of requires a loop if your running 13.99 or faster on street tires.

edit: i m best good at engrish

13.99??? That would mean most stock sports cars are required to have one. Are you sure you dont mean 12.99 or 11.99???

not that its a big deal since loops are cheap, but its a clear sign - there are a lot of lawyers around here.
