Tonight i was driving and my son turned his reading/map light on. as i got out of the car i turned it off, but i noticed that the center light did not turn off. i have looked for a switch that might be turned on or anything like that with no luck. i have removed the light bulb for now, but i hope one of you guys has the answer for me.

Thanks everyone. i guess i must have turned the light knog to the left w/o realizing it. but, after following your advise, it took locking the doors for the light to go off. is that the way mustangs are? let me know and thanks again.

 

yep lock the doors, and the center headlight goes out. it comes on when the doors are opened so you can see untill the key is in the ignition.

 

You don't have to lock the doors to shut it off. It goes off over time anyways.
