haha. turns out work probly wont pay for it[:@]. this sucks, but im getting quotes this weekend. im working after school all this week. o well, **** happens. im going to suggest to my manager and distric manager to install security cams in the parking lot. hopefully they will atleast do that if they wont pay for the repairs.

 

As far sa getting Publix to pay for your damages, hang that sh*t up man! They aren't liable for the actions of customers in their parking lot. They couldn't help you even if they wanted too. If you have to replace the panel, get it insalle dan painted it'll run you over you 250$ deductable. Good luck!

 

well we dont sign contracts when we work there saying they arent liable for parking lot damages, i checked the paperwork. what they will say is i dont have enough proof it happened there. i dont have a witness of the before and after during my parking there. it is all a part of the georgia hit and run law. so they will say i did it to my own car, i dont know. but it is under the corner of the light, on hte rear quater panel and into the bumper as well. i cant replace all that. if i file on insurance, the insurance lady said my rates will go up b/c i dont have proof it wasnt caused by me and i dont have full coverage. im sure a body shop can pop it out and blend some paint where it is chipped. it is a bad situation to be in though. people are so inconsiderate.

 

I'm sorry man. That really sucks. Sometimes you can't win.

 

$150 just to paint the panel.

$50 an hour for dent work.

If there is nothing else wrong, ie.. taillights, trim, etc...

Looking at $250-$300 to fix it. Not worth losing your job over.
