Default Tire Sizes

I have a 1999 3.8L V6 and happen upon a set of 245/45ZR17. Whll these fit in place of my 15 inch wheels without rubbing.

Yeah, you'll be fine - I had 97 Cobra rims + 245/45/17 tires on my 01 V6, no problem.

Just in case you're curious to see what the exact difference in size is, here's a tire size calculator.

http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

(don't worry, it works for all tires, not just miata's. lol)
