Im planning on buying a 94-98 mustang. i plan on either turboing or supercharging the stock engine. which year is the best to start with? i know the 94-5 has the 5.0, and the 96-98 has the 4.6. what are the compression ratios of these motors? Transmission's??? horsepower #'s. are 94-95 obd1, and 96-98 obd2?. help me out here, i need to pick the best year

 

94-98 GT's were all on par to run low 15's. Around 220hp.</P>


I'd go with the 5.0, couple more cubes to work with.</P>

 

and I would go with 4.6 if yer turboing. Just an opinion, I really like modulars now.

 

Your gonnaneed to supercharge, after all those are the slowest gt's made in the last 15 years
