The one for the Cobra is shaped differently for the S/C application.

I think the cobra brace will have clearence issues with the hood. Also, I believe the V6 and GT braces are a triangle, 3pt brace. The cobra is only from strut to strut because of the s/c.

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I have a 2004 V6. It appears from pics of earlier years that the strut towers and firewall is pre-drilled for the brace even if it's not factory installed. My 2004 does not appear to have the holds, and if i wanted to install a brace I'd have to drill and tap. Is that correct? Also, if I were to spring for a brace, would I get the one for a GT?

I drilled the holes just large enough for the bolt to pass thru and put a self-locking nut on from under the wheel well. You may need a second set of hands to tighten. As for which brace to buy, in my experence, it is always better to get the unit designed for your application. You're almost always gonna get a good & easy install.
