Default 4.10 gears-

i want to get 4.10 gears for my'90 stang GT AOD, but i have 15" tires, is that going to effect it?and the car has about 185,000 on it if i do this mod will i be sending it to a early grave?

15" wide? You don't have 15" tall tires...unless you put on some really tiny rims.

4.10's will give your car more torque multiplication through the rear end. This will give you better low end power, but will hurt your top speed and high speed cruise gas mileage. You may find that your transmission isn't up to the task as well. But, a new transmission at 185k miles isn't really a bad thing.
