Hey all... So i was exiled to Vermont for the next few months and got a Mustang Covertable for a rental car.... 2007 year presumably... anyway, how do i go topless in that thing? I fournd the latches, unlocked em, but the top seemed to only want to open just a bit... is there a motor on the top or do i just need to pull on the top harder... Thanks... Needin help up here in Vermont...

 

Unlatch the top from the windshield, lower the windows, pull the parking brake on, and push the power top button.

 

That basically was the question.... where is the power top button located??? It's either well hidden orI'mafraid that I'm going blind...

 

It's a tblack oggle switch in the top center

 

go to a ford dealer look like you want to buy a 07 conv. and ask them to show you how to make the top go down. after you see how drive away with your top down...

Of course, that's how I learned to drive stick several years ago - said I wanted to buy a silver mustang they had on the lot, and then told 'em I didn't know how to drive stick, would they teach me?
