1L2W-4205-BA im looking at a trac loc for 8.8" rear and this is the number on it. will this work in my 8.8" i know it has 31 spline (which is what i want to upgrade to) but other then that, will it work/fit?

does someone know the difference between the OEM replacement 31 spline differential for the explorer/F150 and the motorsports 31 spline?


strengthwise, ive never heard of a F150 or explorer diff failing, so shouldnt an OEM replacement 31 spline be strong enough for a mid-high HP stang?
