will a limited slip meant for a late model explorer fit my 92?

Are you wanting the whole rear end, or just the ring and pinion?

Your 92 (if it's a GT) has an 8.8" rear end. Find another vehicle that has that, and you're set. Not sure if the explorer does, but the Crown Vic does.

i was told that a limited slip for an 8.8 will fit in any 8.8 rear
