Default New to forums, and ford. Help me decide!

Hey everyone! My names Tyler, and I have been a chevy boy, I'm only 18..but have recently been converted to getting a mustang. I was looking into getting a 98-02 trans am, but would much rather have a mustang. Much because of cost, mustangs are probably cheaper to mod from what I've heard.

I'm wondering what would be best for me? I'm looking to find a 99-04 cobra, even though I've researched to find the 03/04 already has a blower on it stock, the 99-02 does not. If I could get a 99-02 cobra, and put a blower on it but not run a ridiculous amount of boost would that be alright?

I considered getting a gt mustang and putting a blower on it, but heard its really not worth it. 260 horse + blower..prolly around 310-320 horse? Plus from what I've heard, the gt doesnt have an aluminum block, and no forged internals.

I dont have a lot of money to spend, possibly 14k..Even though that sounds like a lot to me. I dont want to just purchase a cobra unless it was an 03/04 for 14k, then not have money to put a blower on..I found a couple eaton blowers that would be substanstial to what I'm doing. Any suggestions or thoughts to what I could do? Thank you!

There is no way you're going to find an 03/04 cobra for 14K. Maybe if it was totaled...

Get an '87-'93 GT. Cheap, easy to work on, and reliable. And they just looks so bad ***.
