Default t56 swap

I have a friend that called me last night and he totalled his 99 camaro ss with a 6speed in it, has anyone done a T56 swap in a fox body with this. I currently have an AOD and I know this would be an enormous undertaking but my friend said that if I come over this weekend I can have the tranny for free as long as I yank it myself so I am gettin ready to go wrench it outta there. I am assuming since my mustang is a 90 I would need a different computer and obviousely the pedal assembly with the cable and clutch quadrant. I think I will have to have the yolk from my tranny welded on the driveshaft and also probably shorten it. The transmission allready has a short throw shifter on it but I am not sure if it will line up in the auto shifter hole or not. if there is something I am forgetting or if someone out there has done this please let me know if I am just wasting my time or if this is actually worth the hassle.
Thanks,
Andy

check out ddperformance.com. They have all teh conversions for the t-56. Maybe call them up and ask them. You will probably need a different bellhousing, transmount, clutch petal assembly(junk yard) adjustable clutch cable for accurate adjustments, flywheel, new clutch, and possible different driveshaft/yoke. It seems like a lot but if you can get most of it at the junk yard then it will be easier. goodluck.
