Default tranny drop?

ok lets say, hypothetically
ly, when i was lowering my tranny out of my 89 5.0 5speedit slipped off the jack about 5inches off the ground and hit where the tranny mates to the bellhouseing... do you guys think it will be ok? hypothetically of course...

as long as its not cracked i doubt you have anything to worry about, guys run 400+ hp through them i think it would take a 5in drop

with aluminum housing id be careful check for cracks if that bell housing is cracked your actually gonna lose power due to torque not transfering correctly and could cause vibrations in the trans wich will lead to bigger problems down the road

well the bellhouseing was still attached to the motor so i think im ok there.
