Default 68 302 LOPES AT IDLE-- CHANGE CARB?

I HAVE A 1968 MUSTANG 302 4 BARREL. THE CAR IS 100% ORIG. W/ 75K MILES. THE CAR LOPES AT IDLE. I DID A COMPRESSION TEST AND ALL CYLINDERS EXCEPT ONE IS AT 150. THE OTHER ONE IS AT 75. THE CAR HAS THE ORIG. CARBORATOR. I THINK CHANGING THE CARB WILL FIX MY PROBLEM-- ANY SUGGESTIONS? ANY RECOMMENDATIONS WHERE I CAN PICK UP A REFURBISHED CARB?[/align]

Hook up a vacuum guage and see what's going on inside the engine before you buy a new carb.
I sounds to me like a mixture problem due to a mix of worn bushings or jets.

Sounds like you got a half dead cylinder. Rings or guides are prolly worn
