Default Transmission sliping

Ok heres my problem. Well I took my mustang out for a drive the other day, and all of the sudden the transmission started to slip. If I were to give it any gas at all it would rev up and barly grab. I figured maybe something was cloging my transmission filter so i changed it. The fluid smelled burned. Well it did not help. Now my seccond guess is that maybe my car has too much HP for the transmission. I just boared it out to a 331 and put a stroker kit in it, so i probably have arround 320-340HP, it originaly had 210HP.......any one have an idea?

Go to a reputable shop and prepare to have the tranny rebuilt.Once they slip or burn fluid that's pretty much the end.
It is best to have your old tranny rebuilt instead of getting a generic rebuild off the shelf.Go to a good locally owned shop that will show you (even be proud of) their work.

If this is a stock AOD i would look into a better trans or at least having the AOD upgraded. With that power level your probably just going to blow it up again later on down the road. I dont know too much about autos so hopefully someone who does can chime in and let you know the best setup for your power level

Welcome to the board bro! Did she get you home ok by shifting manually? Seemed like she was doing great when you passed me. Anyway, glad to see you on the board. If you ever need help working on your car, holler at me. We have another member that lives in Coweta too, he is the one I called when we were looking at your car. Again, welcome!
