questions about a setup
I'm looking at a mustang and it has the following engine mods:
compucam roller camshaft (not sure of specs but it has a bit of a lopey idle)
race ported and polished aluminum dart jr. heads (very good heads from what i hear)
70 mm BBK tb
gt-40 intake
pro-m calibrated mass air meter
30 lb. injectors
underdrive pulleys
bbk full lenght headers
msd 6 al ignition
bbk 155 lph fuel pump with aftermarket regulator
dynomax exhaust with o/r h-pipe
How much rwhp should this setup be making? (with a t-5 5 speed)
What would the quarter mile be? (has 3.73 gears) my guess is high 12's with appropriate tires and a good driver
what should the fuel pressure be set at for those injectors?
i have heard some bad things about the msd 6al. what are your experiences?
thanks

RE: questions about a setup
Mate, while we do know some about 'stangs, we are not computers. We can't put all those variables and compile a 1/4 mile time or accurate hp. A VERY rough approximate is about the best you'll probably get. In my humble opinion, you should be running about 350 hp at the wheels, with a 14 sec 1/4. Why don't you just take the beast out for a spin and find out?
