sounds like someone needs a new clutch cable, and i agree, you probably should just quit while you're ahead with this car.

I bought mine for $500 needed a new rear end, windshield, sunroof was missing. Just fix the dam thing! Just because you buy a $2,000.00 car you think your good to go? it probably needs a new tranmission, and engine work. Think about what you are saying. A $700 car is worth fixing dont expect to pay $2,000 on a dream machine ready to go.

lol well how about this...have you ever had your brakes go while your driving it...how about the clutch....oh how about the fact that i have tons of holes in my car...it isn't that i don't want to fix it...because i had plans for the car...but i can't have a car that isn't reliable...it need to be able to be driven....to tell you the truth this car wasn't taken care of before me...it was fine just before i hought it and then everything went terribly wrong on it.....i need a different car...you may say that the 1986 one is going to be the same problem but when i go to get another car i will be able to look at everything and find what i needed to find out....check what needs to be check you know....
