Default 460 BIG BLOCK

i have a question......i currently drive a BIG 76 lincoln with a 460 and c6 tranny (nick named USS IMPORT KILLER) its ok but..... i was wondering if i deciced to stay carbed would it or could i make it fit (haha) into a 94-98 mustang? there is a man on my block that has a 6 cylinder 95 mustang for sale. the body is near mint but the motor is locked up due to his wife not putting any oil in it. i would reinforce the rear end and brakes but i didnt know about the body. would it handle around 450 hp without any serious mods. i want to look stock maybe a small cowl but nothing major.any ideas gang or should i stay with my land boat. looking at daily driver and sometimes a track use. so please anyone help me??????? THANKS

I don't know about if it will fit but you would definiatly have to upgrade the suspension if you stuck that big of engine in a car designed to handle a six cylinder.

Yeah you'll need some stiffer front springs for sure, but it will fit. Um, look up a member here by the name of "ChrisNCindy" because they have a 460 engine in a SN95 chassis, so they could tell you from experience what you need.

Just my two cents, Don't waste your time. You might be able to unlock that motor and get it to work. Then you sell it. If I was going to put a motor in, I would put in a small block.
