3500-4000 rpm problem
alright..so i gotta 93 mustang 5.0 and whenever you get on it and it gets to around 3500 rpm's it sputters before changing gears and my tranny guy says its being robbed of fuel at the higher rpms...changed the fuel filter and all but still no good..any suggestions?
Is the "sputtering" feel like its in the drivetrain or the engine? If its in the drive train it could be bad clutches, bad torque converter, or the oil pump on the tranny is on its last leg.
On the engine side you could have a bad distributer, ignition coil, plug wires, bad battery cables, faulty fuel pump, bad egr valve, vacuum leak, bad MAF, bad fuel pump, and many more kind need more info to make a "keyboard diagnoses" LOL
