Default changing springs

Hey. I wana lower my 02 GT convertible. Baught 4 new H&R springs. And today I went to a couple off shops. They Told me it would take like 5 hours to change them. And wanted to charge me 500$ + tax, went to a secound shop. They wanted 260$..

What is a good price to lower a car????

Free sounds about right to me. As in do it yourself.. lol. But if you need someone else to do it, $260 don't sound bad. How well known is the shop and their work?

Would have done it my selfe. But I just moved to FL. I am living in an apartement, no garage and no tools.

Do somebody know how long it will take to change 4 springs on a Mustang.. Cause I can not belive it will take 5 hours. Thats what I have been told...

Live in Orlando. If somebody know someone or a shop. who can do a an exelente job for a good price. Please let me know.

i would pay someone about a $150 a close friend with a garage or something...but belive me its not hard to do it in your own/or some one elses garage...and plus there is so many write ups on how to do it....the fronts two took about an 1 hour 45 min...and i also took the time to throw some caliper paint...and on the rears it took about 40 minutes...not a hard job to do at all...

they aren't hard to do. i did mine. You don't need a spring compressor either. It can be a pain in the ***

They are probably just going by some computer estimating software, and it gives R&R time for taking apart the suspension. Its not he most difficult job, you could probably do it in a day with little experience and without any special tools.
