I've been saving up all summer and I want to blow my last couple weeks' paychecks on my car. I'm stuck between a true dual exhaust or 18" black rims.

The exhaust would make my car sound sexy, the rims would make my car LOOK sexy. It would be the final step of the black/black look i'm going for.

What do you guys think? Should i buy used wheels/tires? I'm still on a somewhat tight budget. I think the most i would be willing to spend would be like $600.

 

I'd say do the exhaust first. But for some reason, I get the feeling no matter what anyone here tells you. you want the rims more than the exhaust

 

Yea, I agree, Get the exshaust...Treat your self to some nice 1500 rim and wheels package or something in the future it'll be worth it once you get the money. (600 Dollar rim/tires, Lol, You cheap bast@rd, Lol, Jk)

 

dont buy used rims and tires definetly get the exhaust then save up and by the black '03 cobra replica's (holy s**t sexy) they are more than 600 for 4 but well worth it, but yeah definetly get the exhaust first

If its a v6 then go with wheels it will totally change the look of your car. You can always get a cheap weld in muffler to save some cash. I have 17" Bullits on mine and i like em alot, what were you planning on getting?

 

If you get the dual exhaust you will more likely than not want to get a GT bumper or something with the cutouts. Have you thought about that yet? That will end up costing more money too. But if you get the rims, you would have just enough for the wheels, but some decent tires will be at least another 400, more like 6 or 700 though. I still say go for the exhaust though, it will sound nice, and you'll get some gains with that too.
