hi i am puting on my new clutch cable and quadrant on my 92 5.0 but i can't get the old one off theres like 2 parts to it, the old quadrant and the little plastic part thats held in by a spring need help takeing it off

 

i had to literally rip my pawlout. doesnt matter if you break it, its not reused. as for the quadrant...theres two cotter pins holding it on. remove them and it should slide right off.
