Test Drove a 98 Mustang GT Today
I just got done test driving a 1998 Mustang GT. He is asking 5800 for it. It was in excellent condition and drove really nice. It had a few upgrades such as intake, exhaust, etc. The problem is the vehicle is a "lemon buy back" car, and states this on the title. Anyone have any experience with this? What do you think this does to the value?
Thanks
Thanks
your going to have a bitch of a time selling it, just like that guy is probably having a bitch of a time selling it. Lemon law means something in the car was off, and the dealer took more than 3 times to fix it, hence, owner was allowed to return it and be reimbursed under lemon law.
does he have any documentation as to what the problem was? It can be a big issue, or small, like the airconditioner makes a noise, door squeak, anything.
if your good with working on cars and turn your own wrench (not that I do
), might not be a big worry. I would definitly use it as a HUGE negotiating tool. I have no idea what these cars book out for.
